Day 1

Visit Merdeka Square - an important historical landmark in Malaysia, Merdeka Square, or commonly known as Dataran Merdeka, is also the usual venue for the National Day parades.

How to get there: After getting off the KLIA Ekspres from our arrival hall in KL Sentral, take the Kelana Jaya LRT line to Masjid Jamek station. Merdeka Square is just a short walk away.

KLCC wonders - no visit to the city is complete without coming here. View the city from the Petronas Twin Tower observation deck on the 86th floor, go shopping in the mall, take a stroll in the park and be mesmerized with the magical Lake Symphony Light and Sound Water Fountain during nighttime.

Try the local food - With so many options of places to eat in KL, you will be spoilt for choice. For Malaysian street food, head to Jalan Alor, one of the most famous streets in KL with an overwhelming amount of delicious local food choices.

How to get there: Use the covered walkway from KLCC Convention Centre for a 15-20 minute walk to Jalan Alor.

Shopping in Bukit Bintang - There are so many shopping malls in KL with a combination of budget and luxury brands, you will be sure to find what you need!

How to get there: Bukit Bintang is only less than 5 minutes' walk away from Jalan Alor.

Day 2

Follow the trail of KL Forest Eco Park – formerly known as the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve, start your morning by exploring the only virgin tropical rain forest left in the city.

How to get there: Take the Kelana Jaya LRT line to Dang Wangi station. Alternatively, you can take the KL Monorail to Bukit Nanas station.

Pasar Seni (Central Market) – this is where you can get a variety of products by local artists and craftsmen. Find great buys like Malaysian batik and local handicrafts as souvenirs to bring home.

How to get there: Take the Kelana Jaya LRT line and get off at Masjid Jamek station.

Petaling Street (Chinatown) – also known as KL’s Chinatown and just minutes away from Pasar Seni, this is a famous shopping street where you can put your bargaining skills to the test! Discover hidden coffee shops and eateries along the street while you’re there.

How to get there: Petaling Street is just a short walk away from Pasar Seni.

National Museum – learn more about Malaysian history, cultures, arts and crafts before you head back to the airport!

How to get there: Take the MRT all the way to Muzium Negara station for direct access to the museum. Thereafter, walk over to KL Sentral for your ride to the airport with KLIA Ekspres!
