You can now take your bicycles and scooters onboard ERL trains on Weekends and Public Holidays. Foldable bicycles are allowed onboard any time, any day.

Bicycle transportation charge is FREE with every fare-paying passenger.

Bicycle transportation charge is free with every fare-paying passenger.

Only one bicycle/scooter per passenger is allowed.

For safety reasons, non-foldable bicycles/scooters are only allowed onboard during off-peak period – Weekends and Public Holidays. 

Foldable bicycles/scooters can be placed within the bottom luggage compartment (where available). However, priority must be given to passengers with travel luggage. No specific racks will be provided for non-foldable bicycles/scooters. Passengers must ensure that the non-foldable bicycles/scooters does not obstruct other passengers and should not be left unattended. 

There is no specific coaches for passengers with bicycles/scooters. You can board the train through any door and park the bicycles neatly away from the doorway.

Passengers are not allowed to bring the non-foldable bicycles/escalators on escalators. You can take your bicycle/scooter into the elevator but priority must be given to passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility.

Due to potential fire risk, passengers are not allowed to charge their bicycles/scooters at the platform or onboard our trains. 

Non-foldable bicycles/scooters are allowed on both KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit trains. 

1. Access 

      • Only one bicycle/scooter per passenger is allowed.
      • Passengers must enter/exit the station through the wide aisle gate.
      • Carry or walk your bicycle upon entering the station (including on the platform).
      • You can take your bicycle/scooter into the lift but priority must be given to passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility.
      • You can board the train through any door and park your bicycle neatly away from the doorway.
      • Allow other passengers to board and exit the train first.
      • Foldable bicycles/scooters can be placed within the bottom luggage compartment (where available).

2. Reminder

      • Passengers must exercise caution during boarding and while onboard to avoid injury to other passengers or damage to their belongings or the train interior.
      • Use of luggage compartment: Give priority to people with travel luggage.
      • Ensure your bicycle/scooter is clean, and free from mud and grease.
      • Keep an eye on your bicycle/scooter at all times while onboard the train and within the station.

3. General

      • Children (6-15 years) bringing bicycles onboard must be accompanied by adults.
      • Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL), as the train operator, reserves the right, to refuse to carry your bicycle/scooter, even if it has been accepted on a previous occasion or is normally accepted, if in our opinion –
        • it might cause injury, danger or inconvenience, or damage to property;
        • there is not enough room for it;
        • its loading or unloading may cause delay to trains;
        • it is not carried or packaged in a suitable manner; or
        • it might cause obstruction in the event of an emergency evacuation of the train.
      • Passengers are fully responsible and liable for their bicycle/scooter at all times.
      • Charging of e-scooters at stations or onboard the train is not allowed.
