With nearly 20 years of experience, Nachiaappan Arasu is a seasoned marketing leader excelling in both B2B and B2C domains. Known for his knack in crafting and executing top-notch marketing strategies, adept brand management, and seamless event coordination, Nachi is a go-to expert in the field. His approach is grounded in design thinking and data-driven decision-making. He's celebrated for successful campaigns and crisis management, all while maintaining a collaborative and consumer-focused mindset. He currently heads the marketing team.

Prior to joining ERL, Nachi held a senior marketing position at a leading digital marketing company in Southeast Asia. He was responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, as well as managing marketing campaigns across multiple countries in the region. Nachi has a proven track record of success in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns that have helped to grow businesses.

Vijendran Veeraya joined ERL Maintenance Support Sdn Bhd (E-MAS) in February 2002 as an Engineer overseeing the overall civil, station and railway facilities for the parent company, Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL).

Vijendran was transferred to ERL in 2014 and promoted to his current position of Vice President in charge of Asset Services Management. With over 20 years of experience in railway systems maintenance and management, he is now responsible for the performance of ERL railway system’s operations and maintenance, its subsidiary and sub-contractors. He is also in charge of government and stakeholder relations.

Vijendran is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in business administration.

Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Master of Business Administration from Wawasan Open University. 

Alex has over 18 years of experience in Automatic Fare Collection System, Payment Transformation Solutions, IT Project Management and ERP System. He joined Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) in December 2001 as an IT Executive and was responsible for IT technical support, database management and business reporting. In 2002, he was awarded the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCSE, MCDBA, MCSA).

Alex was appointed the Head of IT Department in 2007 and the company’s ISO Management Representative in 2010 for ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 9001:2015. He was subsequently promoted to his current position of Vice President of Information Services Management (ISM) in 2012. Between 2011 and 2014, he became the IT Group Head for both ERL and its subsidiary, responsible for streamlining overall IT processes and operations.

Prior to joining ERL, Alex started his career as an IT Service Provider for software development, IT technical support, IT consultant, IT training, document automation solutions and business intelligent reporting.

Aminuddin joined Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) in March 2002 as a Finance Executive responsible for the reconciliation of revenue collections.

Aminuddin moved to Customer Service Management in 2005 to focus on revenue collection reconciliation from ticket sales. Having taken on various roles within the department, he was appointed as the Vice President of Customer Service Management in 2017 to lead the overall frontline operations and ensure delivery of service excellence. He implemented various process improvement strategies including the migration from conventional cash handling to a fully automated cash management system. Aminuddin has also been the project manager for ERL’s staff secondment program to Al Mashaaer Al Muqaddasah Metro in Saudi Arabia since 2013.

Aminuddin graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Universiti Utara Malaysia, and held various positions in the finance and audit fields prior to joining ERL.

Bernard began his journey with Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) in 2018 as a Senior Executive, progressed to Assistant Vice President in 2022, and now serves as Acting Vice President.

With over a decade of experience in strategy and business development across diverse industries, Bernard plays a key role in driving ERL’s commercial growth. He leads the expansion of sales channels through strategic partnerships and oversees the ancillary business portfolio, including retail, advertising, events, and other non-train revenue streams.

Juffri Matasin is a results-driven HR leader with 14+ years of experience shaping high-performance cultures and delivering workforce transformation across major Malaysian organizations.

He serves as Deputy Vice President, Human Resources at Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL), leading people strategies, performance management, talent development and organizational excellence while positioning HR as a key business enabler.

With deep strengths in strategic HR Business Partnering, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and culture transformation, he brings a sharp cross-industry perspective from MISC Berhad and Media Prima Berhad.

Juffri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). He is passionate about building future-ready capabilities and elevating employee experience. His goal is to build strong and adaptable teams that can turn company objectives into lasting organisational results.

Mohammad Yusof Azami joined Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) in August 2020. He has more than fifteen years of experience in the field of accounting and finance in various industries.

Yusof began his career with Telekom Malaysia UK in 2008. Prior to joining ERL, he was the Group Finance Manager with a UK-based company specialised in modular design, manufacturing and construction.

Yusof holds a Diploma in Accountancy from University of Technology MARA (UiTM). He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
