MYKLIA MONTHLY TRAVELCARD (MTC) PROMOTION

  1. What is the MyKLIA MTC promotion?
    MyKLIA MTC is a special three (3) months promotion that offers discounted fare on KLIA Transit for Malaysian employees working at companies operating at KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. This promotion helps reduce daily travel costs by providing a more affordable commuting option for those working at the airport.

  2. What are the travel sectors available for MyKLIA MTC?
    Travel sectors covered under MyKLIA MTC as follows:
      • KLIA T1/T2 – KL Sentral
      • KLIA T1/T2 – Bandar Tasik Selatan
      • KLIA T1/T2 – Putrajaya & Cyberjaya
      • KLIA T1/T2 – Salak Tinggi
  1. How much is the MyKLIA MTC fare?

  1. Who is eligible to apply for MyKLIA MTC promotion?
    Only Malaysian employees of companies operating in KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are eligible for this promotion.

  2. When can I purchase the MyKLIA MTC?
    Purchasing period: 18th September 2025 – 15th December 2025.

  3. When can I start using the MyKLIA MTC?
    Travel period: 1st October 2025 – 15th January 2026.
  1. How do I register to purchase MyKLIA MTC? (For Employees)
      • You must submit your details to your employer and they are required to submit the form to MyKLIA@KLIAekspres.com for verification.
      • Upon verification, you will then receive an email confirmation with credential details and temporary password to log in for purchase of MyKLIA MTC within four (4) working days.
      • Log in to KLIAekspres.com or KLIA Ekspres Mobile App to purchase the MyKLIA MTC Reload Voucher.
      • You will then redeem the Reload Voucher for MyKLIA MTC using your MyKad at your selected travel station.
  1. What kind of card is used for the MyKLIA MTC?
    Only MyKad with a built-in Touch ‘n Go function is accepted for MyPutrajaya MTC. You are responsible to ensure that your MyKad TnG functionality is active before purchasing the MyKLIA MTC.

FOR EMPLOYER

  1. What information do I need to submit to ERL for our employees to be eligible to purchase MyKLIA MTC?

    To register employees for eligibility to purchase the MyKLIA MTC:
      • Employer must download, fill in and complete the registration form: Registration form
      • Submit the completed form via email to MyKLIA@KLIAekspres.com by 20th August 2025

         For newly onboarded or resigned employee, participating companies shall be responsible to update ERL the necessary forms to
         MyKLIA@KLIAekspres.com on or before the 12th of
         each month
during the promotion period.

  1. I have a new employee who just joined the company and is interested to purchase MyKLIA MTC. Is he/she eligible to purchase MyKLIA MTC?
    Yes, he/she is eligible to purchase MyKLIA MTC. However, companies must submit the employee details to ERL before/by the 12th of every month during the promotion period. In the meantime, the employee can purchase the regular Weekly/Monthly TravelCard for their daily commute.
      
  2. When do I need to submit employees’ details to ERL?
    Completed employee details must be submitted to ERL latest by 20th August 2025. Subsequent submission for new employees to ERL is before or by the 12th of every month during the promotion period.

  3. When is the last day for the employee to purchase MyKLIA MTC?
    The last day for employers to register their employee details to purchase MyKLIA MTC is on the 12th December 2025. Employees must purchase the MyKLIA MTC by 15th December 2025.

FOR EMPLOYEES

  1. I have submitted my details to my company. What do I do next?
      • You will receive email confirmation with credential details and temporary password provided to log in for purchase of MyKLIA MTC.
      • Log in to KLIAekspres.com or KLIA Ekspres Mobile App to purchase the MyKLIA MTC Reload Voucher.
      • You will then redeem the Reload Voucher for MyKLIA MTC using your MyKad at your selected travel station.
  1. I am already an EkspreSmiles member. Do I still need to register?
    All employees must still be registered by their employer to enjoy this promotion. However, if the email used for registration is already associated with an existing EkspreSmiles membership, the same account credentials and login method will apply. You can proceed to login and purchase once you receive the email confirmation that your MyKLIA MTC has been activated.
  1. I am a Monthly/Weekly TravelCard user. Can I transfer unused trips to MyKLIA MTC?
    No, unused trips cannot be transferred to MyKLIA MTC.
  1. I only used my MyKLIA MTC for 1 week, can I get a refund for the remaining unutilised travel period?
    No refund will be issued.
  1. When is the last day to purchase the MyKLIA MTC?
    MyKLIA MTC is a limited time promotion. The last day to purchase the MyKLIA MTC is on 15th December 2025.

 

USAGE OF MYKLIA MTC

  1. Can I board the KLIA Ekspres service with MyKLIA MTC?
    The MyKLIA MTC is only valid on KLIA Transit services. If you board the KLIA Ekspres train, the full fare of KLIA Ekspres standard ticket will be deducted from your MyKad’s Touch ‘n Go balance.

  2. The fare for selected sector to KLIA T1 and T2 is the same. Can I enter/exit at either T1 or T2 with MyKLIA MTC?
    Yes, you can. However, it is not applicable for inter terminal travel (between T1 & T2)
  1. Can I use MyKLIA MTC at other stations beside my selected travel sector?
    Not possible. Full fare will be deducted from the MyKad TnG card value if you travel on other than your selected travel sector.
  1. How many trips are included in the MyKLIA MTC?
    The MyKLIA MTC offers unlimited KLIA Transit travel for 31 days or until the promotion travel period ends on 15 January 2026, whichever comes first.

MYKAD RELATED

  1. What kind of card is used for MyKLIA MTC?
    MyKad is used as MyKLIA MTC. You are responsible to ensure that your MyKad Touch ‘n Go functionality is active before purchasing the MyKLIA MTC. 
  1. My MyKad is damaged. What should I do?
    You are advised to check your MyKad at the nearest National Registration Department (JPN) if it needs to be replaced. 

OTHERS

  1. I'm an airline crew or airport staff commuting from KL Sentral to KLIA T1/T2 and I currently use the concession fare. Am I allowed to apply for the MyKLIA MTC?
    Yes. As long as you are a Malaysian and your company register your details with ERL, you are eligible to apply for the MyKLIA MTC.

 Terms & Conditions for EMPLOYER

  1. MyKLIA MTC is a special three (3) months promotion that offers discounted fare on KLIA Transit for Malaysian employees working at companies operating at KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
  2. Employee’s MyKad embedded with Touch ‘n Go (TnG) must be used as the ticketing medium for MyKLIA MTC.
  3. The MyKLIA Monthly TravelCard (MTC) Promotion will start on 18th September 2025 as follows:
      • Purchase Period: 18th September 2025 to 15th December 2025
      • Travel Period: 1st October 2025 to 15th January 2026
  1. Promotion fares are as follows:

  1. MyKLIA MTC is valid for unlimited KLIA Transit travel for 31 days, or until the promotion travel period ends on 15th January 2026, whichever comes first.
  2. This MTC is valid only for travel on selected travel sectors (e.g. KLIA T1/T2 – KL Sentral vice versa).
  3. Full fare standard ticket will be deducted from the employee’s MyKad TnG card value if travel on other than your selected travel sector.

HOW TO REGISTER EMPLOYEE

  1. To be eligible for the MyKLIA MTC promotion, companies must submit the required employee information in the standard format form provided by ERL by 18th August 2025.
  2. To register employees for eligibility to purchase the MyKLIA MTC:
      • Employer must download, fill in and complete the registration forms: Registration form
      • Submit the completed form via email to MyKLIA@KLIAekspres.com by 20th August 2025
  1. For newly onboarded or resigned staff during the promotion period, participating companies shall be responsible to ensure all forms are emailed on or before the 12th of each month.
  2. All required fields in the form must be completed and companies must email to MyKLIA@KLIAekspres.com according to the stipulated timeline for registration and activation of the employee login account.
  3. ERL will take up to four (4) working days to verify the registration and activate the MyKLIA MTC in the employee log in account for purchase.
  4. Upon successful company registration, each employee will receive an email confirmation and may proceed to purchase the MyKLIA MTC independently using their activated login credentials.

EMPLOYEE REGISTRATION DETAILS

  1. The company shall be held accountable for any misuse, abuse, or fraudulent registration submitted under its name. In such cases, ERL reserves the right to terminate the company’s registration for MyKLIA MTC promotion without prior notice. All information provided during the registration must be complete, accurate and verifiable.
  2. By submitting employee information for registration under the MyKLIA MTC Promotion, the participating company confirms that all personal data provided has been obtained with the full and informed consent of the employee.
  3. The data submitted shall be used exclusively by ERL for the purposes related to this promotion, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
  4. By registering the Company employee for this promotion, the employee agrees to the ERL Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions available on KLIA Ekspres website - https://www.kliaekspres.com/privacy-policy/

OTHERS

  1. ERL reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.

  2. Employee’s MyKad embedded with Touch ‘n Go (TnG) must be used as the ticketing medium for MyKLIA MTC.

HOW TO PURCHASE MYKLIA MTC

  1. Employees are required to purchase the MyKLIA MTC after successful registration by their company.
  2. Employees will receive an email confirmation upon successful registration submitted by the employer. Employees will be able to log in for purchase with details of the Login ID (registered email) and temporary password in the email confirmation.
  3. Employees who have previously registered as EkspreSmiles member, the same account credentials/password can be used for purchase upon receiving an email confirmation of the MyKLIA MTC activation.
  4. Employees who are not successfully registered will not be eligible to purchase the MyKLIA MTC.
  5. MyKLIA MTC can only be purchased on KLIA Ekspres mobile app or website within the purchase period as a logged-in user provided to the employees in the email confirmation.
  6. Upon purchase, a Reload Voucher will be issued for redemption at the KLIA Transit Customer Service Counter selected origin or destination station.
  7. To request an e-Invoice, visit the Customer e-Invoicing Portal at https://einvoice.kliaekspres.com/. Complete the required fields and submit the form. The e-Invoice will be issued within 72 hours. The request status can be tracked using the provided tracking number.
  8. If the TnG wallet in the MyKad is not functioning, it is the responsibility of the MyKad holder to get it replaced at the National Registration Department.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

  1. Submission of personal data for registration under the MyKLIA MTC Promotion is done with full and informed employee’s consent, as confirmed by the employer.
  2. The registration data submitted shall be used exclusively by ERL for the purposes related to this promotion, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
  3. By registering for this promotion, the employees agree to the ERL Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions available on KLIA Ekspres website https://www.kliaekspres.com/privacy-policy/
