Engineer

E-MAS is seeking an Engineer

The role involves leading a troubleshooting team to enhance skills through training, improving train and machinery performance, and localizing components. Additional responsibilities include developing methodologies, reviewing design documents, assisting with departmental management, and ensuring process efficiency.

  1. Lead a team of troubleshooters with the aim of increasing their knowledge/skill/competency level via theoretical and practical trainings
  2. Develop methodologies to improve the train/machineries performance and enhancement of work processes
  3. Localisation of components
  4. Assist the department's management matters such as monitoring KPI's, dealing with suppliers and contractors etc
  5. Review design documents, test requirements and existing specifications of trains
  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic engineering from recognised University/Institution
  • Must be registered / or in the process of registering with the Board of Engineers
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in railway industries
  • Experience in signalling / control systems is an added advantage
  • Experience in physical assets maintenance management, ability to demonstrate competencies in work planning and performance measurement
  • Strong analytical skills and familiar with condition monitoring methodologies, self-motivated, self-discipline, dependable, innovative, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to produce technical report, procedures and other related documents.
