Kuala Lumpur Sentral (KL Sentral) houses the main railway station of Kuala Lumpur. KL Sentral was designed as an intermodal transportation hub. Most of Kuala Lumpur's rail-based public transportations serve KL Sentral while many intercity trains serving Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore start here.

KL Sentral is divided into separate sections for different rail services:

Level One of Transit Concourse for urban public transit services like the KLIA Transit, KTM Komuter and the Kelana Jaya Line light rail transit.

Level Two of Transit Concourse for KTM intercity trains.

KL City Air Terminal (KL CAT) on Level One for the KLIA Ekspres high-speed rail service to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
KL Sentral also has retail and food outlets.

How to get to that station.
If you are driving.
Three (3) main routes that you can use to get to the station. These routes surpass heavily congested areas, thus making access to the station quick.
- From Kuala Lumpur city centre, drive along Jalan Damansara. Go up the ramp opposite the National Museum, which will lead to the station.
- From the North, go along Jalan Duta to Persiaran Mahameru, go straight towards the station.
- Enter from the left side of Jalan Tun Sambanthan leading to the station.
If you take the bus.
Public buses and taxis have access to the station or the surrounding external roads such as Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Jalan Travers and Jalan Damansara. The public transport operators will be operating their services to and from the station.
Park May buses pass through Jalan Tun Sambanthan and stop just outside Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur.

No 55 to Puchong
No 218 to Taman Desa, Old Klang Road
RapidKL buses can be located at lower ground floor of the station - Route B112 MALURI - KL SENTRAL
KTM Intercity
Passengers may take trains, which cater routes from the North, South and East Coasts of Malaysia. Platforms 1 & 2 have been designated for KTM Intercity services. These platforms are accessible from Main Concourse at Level 2.
KTM Komuter
Service operation between 5:30 am - 12:00 midnight at a frequency of 15 minutes during peak hours and 30 minutes at off peak hours.
Platform 4: Train boarding to Sentul until Rawang
Platform 6: Train boarding to Pelabuhan Kelang until Seremban
Both platforms can be accessed from the Transit Concourse at Level 1.
KTM Komuter services will continue to stop at the existing Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and passengers may interchange at either of these two stations.
KELANA JAYA Line
KELANA JAYA Line service commutes the routes between Kelana Jaya and Gombak.
KELANA JAYA Line platforms are situated at Level 3. Passengers can access these platforms from the Transit Concourse at Level 1.
KELANA JAYA Line operates between 6:00 am - 12:00 midnight from Mondays to Saturdays and from 6:00 am - 11:30 pm on Sundays and public holidays. Check the latest schedules here.
