Express Rail Link Introduce Easy Card for Frequent Travellers

Kuala Lumpur, 03 April 2009: Express Rail Link (ERL) has introduced a preloaded travel card, called Easy Card, as part of its loyalty program for its frequent travellers using the KLIA Eskpres.

Easy Card is preloaded with 10 single trips and top up further with an additional complimentary trip, applicable on the KLIA Ekspres. The card comes with a host of advantages, the foremost as the brand name implied - convenience. Passengers holding the Easy Card, merely proceed straight to the gate for boarding on the KLIA Ekspres without having to queue for tickets. The same convenience can also be shared with colleagues or family members traveling together using the same card.

Priced at RM350, each Easy Card is valid for 180days, which is approximately six months.

Commenting on the introduction of Easy Card, Dr Aminuddin Adnan said,” It is a consumer-driven marketing strategy. We know from talking with our loyal customers that they are very happy with the speed, comfort and reliability of our train service; but suggest looking at ways to further improve the end-to-end delivery processes. The Easy Card certainly free-up precious time for our customers who are mainly business travellers."

To help celebrate the introduction of this card, a special promotion runs from 16 March – 15 June 2009. During this period, purchasers of Easy Card stand a chance to win an Easy Card worth RM350 by dropping their business cards at the time of purchase. There will be a total of three draws for this promotion, scheduled on 15th April, 15th May and 15th June 2009. Winners will be contacted within 2 weeks after each draw and their names published on the ERL website.
