Position available: Assistant Vice President – Human Resource Management

Location: Kuala Lumpur – KL Sentral

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, payroll, industrial relations and employee relations
  • Provide HR advice to the senior management in line with the organization plans and business objectives
  • Develop and deliver strategic HR initiatives and provide the required organizational processes and structures that can improve business processes, enable it to meet the business’s strategic objectives and to comply with relevant legislation
  • Provide leadership in industrial relations including advice on employment legislation, leading or participating in managing change processes and in resolving grievances, disputes or other industrial matters
  • Contribute at a high level to subjects such as policies, learning and development, employee retention and organizational development
  • Address all employee concerns in matters relating to HR by providing advice or the necessary support with the aim of enhancing employee satisfaction
  • Manage all HR administrative works which include preparation of HR related reports/letters and office administration
  • Maintenance of all employee data and its related system

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or any equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience with at least 5 years in managerial role, specifically in Human Resource
  • Core competencies include strategic thinking, conceptual and analytical thinking, business acumen and excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (English and Bahasa Malaysia), both written and oral and able to interact well with all levels of employees
  • High level of motivation, able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced business environment
  • Able to handle Microsoft Office applications as well as familiar working in an IT oriented environment
  • Knowledge/experience with SAP is an added advantage
