ERL SIC Announce the Fastest Way to the F1 Race in Sepang Circuit

Kuala Lumpur, 22 March 2007: Express Rail Link (ERL) and Sepang International Circuit (SIC) jointly announced the launching of the KLIA Transit Formula One Transfer Package today at a ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur City Air Terminal (KL CAT), KL Sentral.

Speaking at the event, Dr Aminuddin Adnan, CEO ERL, said,” Getting fans to the circuit the fastest way is what ERL knows best. Our hassle-free KLIA Transit F1 Transfer Package takes fans on the KLIA Transit train from KL Sentral to KLIA.  From there, dedicated coaches shuttle them to the Sepang race-track.  All these within 60 Minutes, without the hassle of traffic, and the need to find a good parking space, too.”

These F1 Transfer Packages are priced at a promotional rate of RM100 per person for the Three-Day Package per person and RM80 for the Race-Day Package.  The fare includes a two-way high speed train ride on KLIA Transit plying between KL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and a two-way coach shuttle between KLIA and SIC. 

“We are maintaining last year’s fare structure in support of VMY 2007 and our nation’s 50^th Year of independence. As in last year, ERL will put on additional trains and shuttle coaches during peak hours especially after the races so that there will be less waiting time for our passengers.” he added.
